Caley Ocean Systems on Track for a Record Revenue Year
Caley Ocean Systems is on track in 2021 for a record revenue year. The top-line growth has largely been delivered from success in winning work in the renewable and sustainable energy sectors. This includes significant wins in offshore wind farm installation solutions, as well as work in support of nuclear new-build power station construction.
In addition to these, new orders have also come from our traditional marine handling system markets.
The revenue growth has been further enhanced by the successful implementation of our focus on life cycle support to our legacy product portfolio. This business segment has grown substantially over the prior 2 years and in addition to normal spares and service support, now includes significant work from upgrades, life extension and managed asset contracts.
The business growth has created additional employment opportunities within the Glasgow-based company, despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Caley’s Managing Director, John Munro, commented, “2021 is shaping up to be a great year for Caley Ocean Systems and its parent, The Seanamic Group. It has been challenging but rewarding to see the business not just cope through COVID, but to truly grow and develop. The Caley team can be proud of what has been achieved so far and are committed to delivering this year’s targets and ongoing growth”.
